No need to fire up the stove...

If I would have been in the mood for a hearty breakfast I could have cooked it out at the airport on the concrete. The temperature here in Fort Stockton got up to well over 110 degrees outside! But as the residents of Ft Stockton proclaim... its a dry heat. I don't think that really matters in the grand scheme of things 110 is 110 no matter which way you slice it. The days here have been long and boring recently but Saturday is my last day, so I have less than a full week left out here... thank you jesus. Well I hope that the weather has been treating all of you back in civilzation better than it has out here.

Now you know why I hate Mexico and claim to never go back on another mission trip there. The heat is horrific, even if the people there do need help. I can go during the springtime or January or something. Not JULY.

I believe that I could deal with dry heat than I could deal with the humid heat that we have here. But your right, hot is hot no matter how you say it.
